About ChunHua County 淳化简介

Chunhua County lies in the central part of Shaanxi Province, at the southern edge of the Loess Plateau. Classified as national poverty county, its landscape stretches 983.81 square kilometers, with a total population of 190400. The area is interlaced with valleys. Landforms are elevated in the northwest and are lower toward the southeast.

A typical agricultural hub, Chunhua consists of 54000 fields of arable land, 5 towns, 10 townships, and 204 administrative villages, with a total population of 20,170 people of which 18,400 are villagers. Chunhua’s economy is based on the cultivation of fruit, animal husbandry, vegetables, and grains. The county is most famous for its apple production and is considered as one of the three best-suitable regions for apple growing in the world.

淳化县 位于三秦之腹，泾水之阳，南 接北仲、嵯峨二山，北枕子午岭余脉甘泉山（今黄花山），东依爷台山，西邻金池水。山围水绕，盆抱而聚。冶峪蜿蜓贯其，泾水滔滔绕西南。是一个典型的山区农业县、全县总面积983.81平方公里,耕地面积 54万亩,辖5镇10乡204个行政村,总人口20.17 万人,其中农业人口18.4万人。境内地势北高南低,海拔630—1808.9米,地貌可概括为”一丘一山三沟五塬”。 农业处于县域经济的主导地位，果业、畜牧业、蔬菜、粮油及生态旅游等绿色产业蓬勃发展，其中苹果产业已跻身“全国水果百强县”和"陕西水果生产十大县"行列，誉为西咸经济圈上的色生活基地。
